Full course description
This workshop focuses on leaders and emerging leaders across all industries by embracing three levels of leadership competencies. Participants can expect to discover, develop, and design their own leadership profile through self-assessment, skill-building, and reflection. They will learn to recognize elements of effective leadership practice, identify strengths and potential challenges they may face, and chart a path to continuous improvement of their leadership capabilities.
What to Expect
Spend 2-3 hours per week watching presentations from NU instructors and other industry pros; complete self-assessments to learn more about your personality, leadership skills, behavior, and practices; identify through journaling your opportunities for leadership growth; and create a leadership plan to help you turn your thoughts into actions to produce outstanding personalized results.
What You’ll Learn
Participating in, and completing this workshop, sharpens your ability to:
- Discover and evaluate your leadership practices; and
- Design a plan to continuously strengthen your leadership.
After completing the workshop, you will receive a Level 2 digital badge signifying your participation in activities designed to apply and build your skills, and receive feedback from your instructor and peers. You can showcase your badge on professional and social networks, and/or add it to your resumé or CV.
