Full course description
This asynchronous course provides an overview of theoretical concepts, digital pedagogies and instructional techniques for effective facilitation of remote experiential learning. This course will build teachers’ competencies in facilitating work-based, virtual experiential learning connected to industry partners and real-world projects. Developed as an applied learning course, teachers will engage with a community of practice as they implement a virtual experiential learning program into their classroom. Learning modules will explore teacher and learner identity, effective engagement of industry partners, and the use of technology and learning analytics to identify, respond to and track learner and industry partner needs. Learners will develop learning plans, share with authentic audiences, and engage with a network of educators for refinement and feedback.Â
